I love the fact that there is a game element and a chill train at the same time, but they got to work on their queue times… in my opinion, they should do a 2 express queue and 1 normal queue, we were in the normal queue and stuck for a good 2.5hours. Every second made the wait less and less worth it. If you want to rush all the rides, DON’T come here. Or buy the express pass!

Very cool ride, very unique and innovative. Worth checking out. Didn’t get any pictures of the actual ride, it’s an interactive virtual/augmented reality experience on an actual ride.

Truly the most overrated ride in the park. The line is always long, but the payoff is not really worth it. The line snakes its way through Bowsers castle. The attention to detail is really cool, and kids especially will love it. Once you get near the ride vehicles it all starts to fall apart. This section could stand some cast members helping organize people. When you pick up your Mario hat people are standing around crowding the station causing the line to back up, they need additional stations or someone moving people along. The ride itself is underwhelming, you would expect a faster ride when thinking about Mario Kart, but this is a slow meandering ride. There is a game aspect where you shoot shells at enemies. You shoot with a button, and basically look where you want the shell to go. It’s super clunky, and you don’t really know what to shoot. It’s good to do once, but after that it’s just not worth it.

This dark ride is(in my opinion) overrated. I get it has rerideability, but I found the “game” aspect of the ride to be a little confusing. Besides the game aspect, it’s basically your average dark ride(not trackless) with a little less-than-impressive show scenes for a Universal ride. I will admit, it has one of the best queues I’ve ever been through, but it is a long wait if you don’t go on it first. I’d recommend doing it once, but not any more than that.

The absolute best aspect of this ride is the excellent theming and decoration of Bowser's Castle as you wait in line, which is good because the line will be long. The rest of the experience is frustrating and mediocre. After waiting in a slow line, you're shown pre-ride videos that are little more than direct instructions. The AR headsets are neat, but essentially just add a ton of visual noise to distract you from a very slow and dull ride with middling sets. I'm not sad I tried this ride, but I certainly would never wait in line to ride it again
