Mark Twain Riverboat

As the annual pass holder, it’s a shame that I never squeezed out the time to get on this boat. My husband and I went to park during the memorial weekend and the park was super packed so we decided to try something that we haven’t done yet. The operation hours of Mark Twain Riverboat are from 9am to 5:40pm daily. The boat ride is estimated 15 mins and it will show you around the Rivers of America. You will have a chance to take a closer look at the stage for Fantasmic show and enjoy the following scenes. -Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island -The north bank of the Columbia Gorge -A rustic frontier cabin -An idyllic Native American village -A busy beaver at work chewing on the train trestle -Mountain lions relaxing in the sun -The Disneyland Railroad steaming into the wilderness It's good for a break from the crowds and a hot weather. Overall I like this experience.

Climb aboard the Mark Twain and be transported back to a time of great wonder and exploration. Back in the days of the Indians and trade routes along the great Mississippi. Take a small cruise down the great Rivers Of American and see some iconic points of interest. Walk around the great steam engine paddle boat and see some amazing and interesting detail on American ingenuity. Mark 1…. Mark 2….. Marrrrrrkkkkk Twaiiinnnnnnnn….

Fun, relaxing boat ride, with views of the park as well. I prefer this over the Columbia as this boat has seats.

This is one of the oldest attractions at Disneyland so it's fairly sedate like other rides from that era. But maybe that's the point. It was fun to explore the replica and go around the short circuit in the pond envisioning the old 1960s frontier movie classics. Kind of expected to see Tom Sawyer might surprise us by running along the rim of the island. Good old fashioned nostalgia.
