This was my first time going to McCoy Park and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. A lot of effort, thought, and money has gone into the park and it really shows! It is well maintained. I didn't see garbage on the ground. The grass is cut and it is freshly landscaped. It has multiple playground areas, a baseball diamond, a splash water area that wasn't turned on yet until the official summer season begins and outdoor restrooms. It is wheelchair accessible with multiple ramps and a swing with a shoulder brace and latch. The playgrounds are padded and there are lots of slides that are adult accessible should your little ones need your assistance. Or you're a kid at heart and want to slide too lol. All the children and adults were very polite and friendly here. There are drinking fountains and shaded benches to sit on. The kids loved the musical instruments to play with as well. We will be back for sure to check out that splash area when it opens!

Always great for a free water park outing. Small and quaint, but packed full of fun. There's a couple parks to play in, a few picnic tables to sit at, and water to play in. Adults were having just as much fun as the kids were (me included). OH AND, the ice cream man came and we got frozen treats, too! The darker pictures were another night and I ess trying to chase the moon for a pic.

Really nice playgrounds for all ages. Splash pad is a hit with kids during the hot days. There is even a small baseball field on a "spongy floor." Wide grass spaces to run, plenty places to sit and relax and ample parking. The Harry Truman museum provides a nice background. The one improvement needed here is the bathrooms. They are dirty and lack soap dispensers.

Spent several hours on both playgrounds loved it. Loved how it's fenced in makes u feel better when lots of kids running around, knowing there is only one way out gives you a better way to feel relaxed

There are two playgrounds - one larger and one smaller for age appropriateness. Both are themed on the Oregon/California/Santa Fe Trails. There is a small educational component, and they did about the best they could for a playground. There are some picnic areas with covers nearby too. The park is a little worn and would not be considered a destination, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The infrastructure outside the playground equipment is in need of updating. The bathrooms were unfortunately closed as well when it was 70 degrees outside.
