Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

This one is incredible. The queue for this one is really special, and is one of the better of the newer attractions at Disneyland. It’s fun, quirky, and the technology they use is really cool! It’s an all time favorite and is great for all ages!

A very innovative experience. Disney does a great job in making your time in the line up feel a part of the ride. We headed straight to the ride to avoid the lines and we were one of the first few to get on the ride. It is one of those rides where you will want to get the lightning lane or you may be waiting awhile.

The hard work Disney Imagineers put into creating this attraction is abundantly clear, it’s incredible. The queue is like a ride in and of itself; it’s quirky fun perfection! There are multiple elements, such as poster parodies of classic Disney films, “props” from Fantasia, and Pluto’s Christmas Tree (a favorite short of mine as a kid). The cinema concession is a show-stopping photo op. The queue keeps you entertained, so if your wait happens to be lengthy, enjoy the queue! *No spoilers. The pre-show was incredible, especially the first time. Cast Members did a great job interacting with characters on-screen to immerse you with what’s to come. Things happened during this pre-show I’d never seen before, and kept me wondering how they did it. This is an all ages friendly ride. Good luck not getting the song stuck in your head, but at least it’s not It’s A Small World! Our first ride through was perfect, then on the second, Daisy’s face projection malfunctioned, which was funny to see in-person and not on YouTube. I don’t love that Disney started to using projections; personally, I don’t find it as engaging as animatronics. Overall, I may have enjoyed the queue more than the ride. I did get slightly motion sick during parts of this ride since it’s screen-heavy, so other sufferers out there, be warned! Wait times were all over the place. We got to walk-on several times, but the ride would go down and it bumped as high as 60min. If you get the opportunity to ride this attraction, be sure to do so!

What a fantastic ride. Last night was my first time on the ride and I have to say it was really amazing and super cute. I love how high tech the entire ride is. The trackless rides are so smooth and seamless. The visuals on this ride are so cool. The lines can get extremely long and so if you can afford getting a genie Plus for the day I would highly recommend doing that in order to get on this ride.

This was my first time riding the Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway, It was alot of fun, I was impressed by the technology put into this newer attraction in Toontown. You start out on a train then it splits apart a short while later, and spins you in front of video screens. I would definitely ride this ride again with my two year old nephew.
