Mountain Room Escapes Big Bear

My mother sister and I did the alpine ski lodge. We are ages 47, 50 and 76. We had a wonderful time. It was so much fun and absolutely not easy. We laughed so hard often. This was the best experience. We thought jasmine was awesome and we will definitely be going back. I want to bring my whole family. This was so worth it and I’d say if you’re up in big bear go and try an escape room you won’t be sorry. Thank you Mountain Room Escape we so appreciate you.

It was so fun and well done! We did the 3 star level room. The game master was obviously very passionate about their escape rooms and put a lot of effort into the details. We had 4 people in our party and found it was the perfect size. Any more and the room might have felt cramped and too complicated to manage. The game was complex but not impossible. We finished with about 25 minutes to spare but it was fun nonetheless! The only reason I am not giving 5 starts is because we had to wait a bit past our reservation time because the other parties were running late. Other than that, great experience!

Such a fun escape room! We came on a snowy night and this was the perfect activity! I won’t ruin the room we did for you but it was well thought out with clues that weren’t too easy and had a great flow to them! Don’t even get me started on the couple who run this place! You can tell they genuinely love what they do and have gone the extra mile to make not only the rooms great but the lobby area as well. You walk in to painted murals on each wall and even a little library where you can buy or trade books for incredible prices! Basically you won’t be sorry you came

We had a great time! Our group was able to escape with about 10min left, without any big hints. We had a group of 8 (2 families - half our group were kids, and for a couple adults, it was their 1st time doing an escape room) We all enjoyed the theme and the range of puzzles and decor. Afterwards we chatted and felt it might have been harder to do it all in 1 hr if we were a smaller size group. there were a few parts of puzzles some of us missed as we were going, since there were a lot of activities different subgroups of us were working on at the same time. There was good set-up/clear guidance before we started. It was helpful that they emphasized that communication was important. There were enough things at different levels for everyone to be very engaged the whole time. I felt like I needed to use my phone flashlight for most of it, and found it a little more dimly lit than I would have liked, but I get that it was part of the mood. Fun ambience in the escape room itself and shop. We called before booking, and staff were super helpful and shared a discount code 👍👍 Recommend!!

I highly recommend this escape room. Matt was our gamemaster and he was amazing. We came in with a large wedding party and he was able to accommodate us and made it such a fun experience for us all. The rooms we did were both unique and challenging.
