Mr. Freeze Introduce

Prepare for a chilling encounter with Mr. Freeze, a high-octane launched roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. This super-villain themed ride will send you blasting through a series of intense elements, including a signature "top hat" loop that will leave you breathless.

A Launched Coaster Experience

Mr. Freeze is a launched roller coaster, meaning that instead of a traditional lift hill, it uses a powerful mechanism to propel the train forward at high speed. This creates an immediate rush of adrenaline as you're catapulted from 0 to 70 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds. The ride's layout features a combination of twists, turns, and inversions, all designed to maximize the thrill factor.

A Journey into the Realm of Mr. Freeze

As you board Mr. Freeze, you'll find yourself in a themed station that sets the stage for your encounter with the iconic Batman villain. Once the train launches, you'll be thrust into a series of intense elements, including the ride's signature "top hat" loop. This element sends you soaring vertically up a 218-foot hill, before plunging you back down in a dizzying freefall. The ride also features a variety of other twists, turns, and inversions, all designed to disorient and thrill riders.

  • High-Speed Launch: Experience the adrenaline rush of being launched from 0 to 70 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds.
  • "Top Hat" Loop: Soar up a 218-foot vertical hill and plunge back down in a thrilling freefall.
  • Intense Elements: Navigate a series of twists, turns, and inversions designed to maximize the thrill factor.

Freeze is our fav and a classic. It's a shame this one and the one at St Louis are plagued with tech issues. Them's the breaks when it comes to these rides and the old LIM system. Be patient if it goes down while you're in line. It'll probably come back up. Included is a blurry pic of the train stopping short upon return and causing a common issue.

The ride is incredible and considerably faster than its counterpart at the Six Flags St. Louis park. One side has returned to launch forward, but that side was not open when I rode it. The unfortunate part of this ride is the cue with no air conditioning. Particularly brutal on a hot Texas day. The ride op on the microphone making annoying sounds adds to the agony of waiting in line. With only one side open I would probably not want to wait in this line very often.

I loved this ride so much I rode the forwards and backwards one too and I love to do this again. I recommend people who lobe thrill rides ride this. Firstly if your on the forwards ine you go like the backwards one but your going forward you still blast of course but it's really fun. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners on thrill rides.

Bro I swear to god the ride said it was open, I went to the line to wait for over 30 MINUTES… nothing. Everyone left so I did too. 2 hours later I saw people riding it, so I went to wait. Again, over 40 minutes wasted. The line did not move at all. The app said it was closed for ten minutes, and the other ten minutes it said it was open. I’m not sure what the issue was but it was boring af

I love this ride but ops needs work. The building is frequently without a/c, the trains often only run one side and on my last visit were only loading every other row. This was on a summer weekend. It's also notoriously delicate and closes when the wind blows.
