Mt. Olympus - Building 25
REVIEWS
I was concerned when I initially made the booking because the hotel had plenty of bad reviews. First of all, I didn't like that I didn't get a room number or the building I would be staying in until I got to the check-in, which is quite a distance from the parks and resorts. The check-in line wasn't that lengthy, but the service desk staff were difficult to comprehend because, I believe, English isn't their first language. We were put in building 25, which was the farthest building from the park! Since we drove here, it wasn't a big issue but for others it may be. Upon arriving the motel seemed eerie, not very welcoming! Walking into the motel there were homeless people inside the lounge, I didn’t mind as I bet they were just trying to keep warm but it could also be a safety issue. If security is a main concern for you , there are no attendees or security on the property. The corridors were darkly lighted as we went up to our room, literally felt like the main characters in a horror film. Besides that our room was surprisingly clean, including the bathroom, which was my biggest worry. Both the bathrooms and the sheets were pretty clean. We didn't expect a luxurious room as we only spent $130, but this was good enough for one night. Additionally, since there isn't an elevator to bring up your bags, I do advise staying somewhere else if you want to stay longer. What I also found absurd was the fact we could only check in after 4pm but had to check out at the crack of dawn (10 am). Besides this we mainly came to celebrate NYE and as I was booking there was a much anticipated NYE party, and if you wanted to secure a table, you would have to pay an additional $200. Literally more than our stay!? This all took place inside the theme park. Which by the way, you need money to play any of the games there. The night of lights, was the highlight of this NYE event. Although we didn't spend the entire night, I heard there would be a balloon drop. Returning to the hotel that evening, I felt sorry for those below me because you could hear every movement due to the hardwood floors. Since the walls are as thin as paper you could hear as someone took a tumble at 3:30am. Despite the building's depressing appearance, the room was quite clean and tidy. The indoor water park was large and enjoyable, but there wasn't much seating, so arrive early! Also the big lockers are $30 and small are $15. Although they do hide a lot of things from you, the stay wasn’t all that bad.

I wish I could rate this place a zero star. The bathroom had hair, bed sheets had stains and was nicely covered up and the service here was the worst. I called at 9am requesting towels and to have my trash removed, at 10pm after multiple calls to the front desk I finally got towels, the trash however was still sitting in front of the door. The supervisor Denise or Daise refused to approve a refund for their poor service and nasty room but instead wanted to change my room literally a few hours before I check out at 10:30pm when my child is sleeping and i have to drive back to Minnesota. Very disappointed in this experience and how it was handled by Denise/Daise (Supervisor), Mt. Olympus needs to make some changes.

My daughter like this place. She had fun swimming..we tried the rotating water slide. It was a different experience, but it was fun.

i don’t need a refund. i just want to let the resort know about the issues i encountered. yesterday, i wrote a review about the lady who assisted me in the front desk. i asked her if there are shuttles that go around mt olympus i told her i just wanted to be in the waterpark and i don’t have a car to move around. but she assigned me to the farthest room which is building 25.i just needed a consideration. i don’t want to write a negative review again but this morning, i can hear the footsteps of people upstairs loudly. it’s as if there are bass drums banging. i really wanted to sleep until checkout. i thought i could have a good sleep but i didn’t. also, the floor is sticky. there is no exhaust fan. but i guess, there is nothing we could do.

Booked two rooms for a family trip and honestly probably will avoid Mt. Olympus building. Not bad if you only go to Mt. Olympus and just need the room to sleep. It's not terrible but not great. Looks like they have removed all of the pools that the motels/hotels had assuming so your not wasting time at there and heading straight to the water park. Also didn't see anyone or even an area for anyone to be at in can you needed anything.. pretty creepy lol Personal for the price it wasn't great.
