We were in building 5 and our room was DISGUSTING. The bathroom window was moldy, the chain was ripped off the door and there is a huge gap under the door so our room was constantly humid. Also within 10min of being here the bottoms of our feet were BLACK. I don't think this room has ever been mopped. The wifi is nonexistent. I even messaged the front desk about it and all they had to say is "the wifi has no password." I guess they don't need password protection since it doesn't work anyways. The sheets and towels seem clean enough at least. The room is very bare and empty especially considering it's supposed to be a "themed" room. If they offered refunds I would have left as soon as we walk in. I'm just glad we got the off season rate for the room. It's nice being so close to the park (less than 5min walk) but the walk has a super steep hill so it sucked too. Considering the enormous waterfront mansion the owners live in you would think they could spend a little money on more housekeeping staff.

I feel like most people know what they’re getting themselves into with Mt. Olympus. A great park honestly. However the resort was kind of lack-luster. I didn’t expect much, but our bathroom had spiders and outdoor bugs. The “themed” rooms were honestly a joke😂 haha all in all the park was great and the rooms were awful. Luckily you don’t spend tons of time in them.

Almost $200 a night for the worst motel I've ever stayed in. Hair and mold in bathroom. I had originally booked a different building almost 4 months ago for automotion and we got moved here because the entire state patrol got the the nicer building up the road. When i checked in I was told they could only give out 1 parking pass even though we had 2 couples, 2 vehicles. Zero apologies or price adjustment was given when I went back to the check in desk to let them know. Mt. Olympus is just a big person factory that does not care about their customers. I will be looking for a different resort company next year.

The room itself was bad. We stayed in building 4. There was random banging on the door from the other room at 11:00 at night. Very annoying and unnecessary. I wasn't pleased that there was a random space with a window that was looking out to nowhere. The privacy glass was ripped. I don't know why but it was another sign of bad maintenance. We talked with other guests who found HAIR all over their beds! Ridiculous. The only thing we liked was the location, we were close to the park, but it was still hard to get there being there was a very steep hill.

Historical theme, water park Resort that's had many important people stay here. This has been here throughout the test of time. Thats why this resort should be protected.. not abandoned. This resort needs to a new plan to be refreshed and revamped. Every room should be 1. cleaned with clorox & hot water 2. All surfaces, walls, doors & knobs, buttons, handles, should be cleaned with clorox bleach and hot water. (to remove any bacteria or germs that may have build up over the last 20 years.) 3. New mattresses get rid of any potential bed bug problems 4. No carpet or new carpet. More lighting in parking lot 5. Here security 6. Hire more house keeping maybe from Milwaukee. People who need jobs and know how to clean. 7. Hire new friendly Staff with integrity instead of people milking the clock. 8. More security camera 9. New chef & menu for restaurant 10 More children friendly activities 11. More adult only activities This is a spectacular property, historical and truly art. Like everything in life it has to be renewed. The 1 star reviews do not represent this resort just someone's exspirence during the time they were there. 12. Disinfect your pool water. Hire and train Staff on continuing the legacy of a 5 star resort. Despite the new generation These are minor revamps. For a major reward.
