Mt. Olympus - Indoor Water Park

It's totally worth the money to get a room and drive a short distance to the water/theme park. We got one (2 Queens plus Bunk Bed) that was about $200/night in mid August and it's in the category of "2-5 minutes drive." That was a great price point for me. There is also an option for "1-2 minutes drive," but those were more expensive rooms. There are certain indoor sections of the park that are closed during the summer. Our room was just fine. Nothing fancy, Our room had a decent size mini fridge (with separate freezer area) and a microwave. Check in is easy. When you get to 622 N. Frontage Rd, they assign you a room in one of their many buildings. All of them are easy to find. Then when you return to the water/theme park, it is free to park in lots B or C. Normally this parking would cost $40! If you opt for a more expensive "1-2 minute drive" hotel, you can park in lot A, but that's really not much closer than lot B to the water park side of Mt Olympus. Maybe 5 less minutes walking to the park. The PDF map of the park and buildings is easy to follow. We went on weekdays. There have been some long lines during the day for the water slides, but when we went at night, there were almost no lines for the mostly wooden roller coasters! The go carts were super stinky, though - they could use an electric upgrade at some point. They also have a lot of options for little kids, like kiddie rides and kiddie go-karts and stuff. So adorable. We'll definitely return next time we make a trip to the Midwest.

We went in March and it was awful. They stuck us in a hotel far from the indoor water park. We had to go through an abandoned looking lobby and hallway to find out basement/ 1st floor room. The beds sucked. There were no facial tissues in the room. We couldn't figure out the entrance to the pool. The singage was the worst and everything felt under construction. It was a very long walk and lots of stairs. I wish I looked at reviews before getting reservations. I do not recommend.

Parking is almost the same as an admission fee. $40 for parking. Save your money and order you admission tickets online. 3yr and under is free but everyone else is $50. I remember this place to be much bigger but it is quite small. Not much rides for kids if they is the reason you go. Better to do something else.

Kids enjoyed the water and theme park. We stayed there for 4 days so we can get the most out of it. It’s a better deal if you get a room because the it includes the water and theme park, free parking. I know the rooms aren’t that great because it is just a converted motels but we just sleep there and we’re there for the parks so yeah it’s a great value. We might make it a yearly thing as long as the kids still want to go. Worth the drive from Canada.

Only half of the indoor part was open during our stay but the Medusas slide wheel worked. Super fun!! The line may look intimidating, and long but it goes super fast! such a fun ride! Minimum weight needed is 250 lbs so bring enough ppl to add on or you have to wait until there's people that also Don't have enough weight on their tube to join u.
