We had an amazing experience at Natural Bridge Caverns! My wife bought the Discovery Tour tickets online, and check-in was quick and easy. We waited for the 11:32 AM tour, and the entire process was smooth. According to the website, the Discovery Tour is about an hour long and covers a walking distance of 3/4 mile, including stairs. Inside the caverns, we initially thought only one tour guide would take us through, but that wasn't the case. Different staff members were assigned to each section, explaining the unique features of the caverns, which added a lot to our visit. It's very kids-friendly, making it a perfect outing for families. The caverns themselves are absolutely stunning and definitely worth visiting when you're in San Antonio.

We had bought tickets for a particular time slot and reached 10 minutes before that slot. There was no wait involved. We had gone in with two young kids, a 5-year-old and 1 year old and it was an easy hike back and forth with both of them. They really enjoyed the cave and it was a truly memorable hike

Natural Bridge Caverns is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves exploring the wonders of nature. Located in the heart of Texas Hill Country, this incredible network of underground caves offers a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. The guided tours are expertly curated, blending fascinating geological history with engaging storytelling. As you descend into the caverns, you’re greeted by an otherworldly landscape of massive stalactites, stalagmites, and other formations that have taken thousands of years to form. The lighting within the caverns highlights the natural beauty without feeling intrusive, creating an atmosphere that’s both mysterious and awe-inspiring. One of the highlights is the Discovery Tour, which is perfect for first-time visitors. For the more adventurous, the Hidden Passages Tour offers a deeper dive into the less-explored parts of the caverns. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about preserving and sharing this natural treasure. Beyond the caves, there are additional activities to enjoy, such as a ropes course, ziplining, and a gem mining station, which are great for families and kids. The facility is well-maintained, with clean restrooms, a gift shop, and plenty of shaded areas to relax after your tour. While the caverns stay cool year-round, wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a light jacket is recommended. Tickets can sell out during peak seasons, so booking in advance is a good idea. Overall, Natural Bridge Caverns offers a perfect blend of adventure, education, and natural beauty. Whether you’re a local or a visitor to Texas, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. Rating: ★★★★★ Would return? Without a doubt!

Such an awesome experience in San Antonio! It was my first time checking out the caverns, we did the Discovery Tour which was an easy walk and great if you're short on time. Making it down to the aquifer was a treat, really makes you feel like you're in an Indiana Jones film. Our guide Justin was super knowledgeable about the caverns, the stones, and the whole science behind it. Would definitely come back!

Our family trip to the Natural Bridge Caverns was an amazing experience. I highly recommend visiting for anyone that has the opportunity. I purchased tickets for the Discovery Tour online. We were slightly late but the employee at the ticket counter was very helpful with having our tour time changed to the next available. The tour guide was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the cave. He provided tons of educational information and was very patient with giving everyone on the tour time to take videos and photos. I was able to capture so many beautiful photos and videos. There are plenty of hand rails to assist with walking in the steep and wet areas on path. They take a photo for you that can be purchased for $26.99 at the end of the tour. We visited one of the two restaurants while we were there which offers hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, fries, grilled cheese, brisket, slushies, sodas, coffee, beer, wine, and popcorn. There are two stores to purchase a variety of different souvenirs. There is also a restaurant/sweet/ brew shop that offers, pizza, ice cream, sweets, and beer and wine. Every employee we encountered provided great customer service.
