Oaks Park Roller Rink

We love this place, but I wish the music was more family friendly! There's tons of pop music that meets in the middle for all ages and I just don't think the music played yesterday was appropriate for younger children. I was very conflicted having my 5 year old child there and as an adult in my 40s the music was also occasionally pretty abrasive for me to enjoy. Please consider family friendly music. I'd also love if you'd considered having some healthier options at the food stand. Other than this we are very happy patrons! Thank you!

I'm so disappointed tonight! My husband and I were so excited for the Woodstock Peace-in theme tonight that was advertised as "Let loose your inner hippie at a night celebrating harmony! Let’s turn back the clock to 1969 and relive the magic of peace, love, and groovy music under the stars. Be sure to don tie-dye, bell bottoms, flowers in your hair, and a free spirit in your heart!" But we were there from 7pm to 9pm and only one song from that era was played. When I asked the gal in the DJ booth about it she said "ya that's what usually happens on our theme night....we play 1 or 2 songs for the theme an hour" Well that very disappointing!! We were really looking forward to skaying to some good tunes from the 70's! And we were not the only ones dressed up for the theme. Is this the normal for themed/special nights?

"An amazing place to go skating! The staff was incredibly respectful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. My kids and I were treated with so much kindness and care from the moment we walked in. Definitely a spot we’ll be visiting again!"

It was very stinky here. I mean, we could hardly stand it. It was also really busy, so we ended up staying less than an hour. But it's a cool rink and has a deep history here. I haven't been in a while and we likely won't go back unfortunately.

The absolute WORST skating rink I’ve ever been to. All the staff was literally so rude for no reason. They were constantly harassing everyone saying they couldn’t skate to fast or legit do anything remotely fun. My sister got yelled at for having her phone out and recording. I’ve never had a problem recording anywhere else. I went there for the very first time on Sunday and didn’t know they played vintage music the whole time it was like a black mirror episode 😀. I will never go here again such a waste of money. So sad because I’ve never had a bad roller skating experience til I went here, made me hate skating.
