Odyssey Fun World Introduce

Welcome to Odyssey Fun World, located at 19111 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477, USA. As an indoor amusement center listed in the Theme Park Directory, Odyssey Fun World aims to provide a space for various entertainment activities.

Based on customer reviews, experiences at Odyssey Fun World appear to be mixed. One customer who hosted a party for their 4-year-old and classmates reported that the children loved the place. They acknowledged that the facility might be older but appreciated the lack of crowds, allowing children to run and play freely. Another reviewer found the place comfortable and relaxing, indicating it as a good option to bring kids on rainy or hot days, or any day unsuitable for outdoor play.

However, a significantly contrasting review from a student who visited on a school field trip paints a negative picture. This reviewer reported receiving a lot of misinformation about the availability of attractions. They were told they were too tall for the adventure crawl space, only two of the bumper cars were working, laser tag was inaccessible despite being paid for, and no outside activities were open. The reviewer stated that school staff had inquired weeks in advance about the openness of these attractions and were assured they would be available, indicating potential misleading information provided by the venue. There were also conflicting reports about when go-karts and outdoor activities would open, with promises that were not kept.

Furthermore, the "unlimited" game cards that were supposedly included with the payment were reported to be limited, with some students having significantly fewer points than others and running out quickly after playing only a few games. The reviewer themselves started with only 15 points and could not play many games. In response to these issues, the manager and staff reportedly attempted damage control by offering "free" laser tag and go-karts, despite the fact that these activities had already been paid for as part of a $3000 payment for 45 kids and chaperones. Ultimately, this reviewer strongly advised against visiting for any occasion unless one plans to spend a lot of money for very little in return, suggesting that other arcades would offer a better experience for the same cost. They also included pictures of themselves and classmates standing around, unable to access the promised activities.

The environment of Odyssey Fun World is an indoor amusement center with various attractions, including an adventure crawl space, bumper cars, laser tag, go-karts, and arcade games. It also appears to have some outdoor facilities, though their availability seems inconsistent. Services include access to these attractions, party hosting, and arcade game play via game cards. Features noted by positive reviews include spaciousness and potentially fewer crowds. However, a significant concern raised is the potential for misinformation regarding the availability and functionality of attractions, as well as issues with game card usage. Given the starkly contrasting experiences, local users should be aware of the reported inconsistencies and potential for disappointment, especially when visiting with large groups or expecting all advertised amenities to be fully operational.

So, I had a party for my 4 year old and classmates and they loved the place. I know it is older there, but I really love not having a crowd and being able to let the kids run and play. 🎉🎈🥰 This place is very comfortable and relaxing. I'm going to bring the kids back again on rainy days, hot days, or any day that is not suitable for playing outside. ☀️☔️😄

This place is great! If you like standing around & doing nothing for two hours. I went here on a school field trip (I’m a student) & we received a ton of misinformation about what would be open & available to all of us. We were all told we were too tall to go in the adventure crawl space, only two of the bumper cars worked, we couldn’t get into laser tag despite paying for it, & nothing outside was open. I was told school staff asked weeks in advance if these things would be open, & they said they would. We were then lied too multiple times throughout the trip. When the go karts would be open, when the outside would be open, etc. We were also told that all the game cards we paid for would be unlimited for the entire time we were there. Some kids had more points than others & it was NOT unlimited. (I personally started out with 15 points & only got to play a few games before I ran out) The manager & staff then tried to play damage control, offering us “free” laser tag & go karts, despite the fact we’d already paid for it. In all, I would not recommend coming here for any occasion unless you plan on spending tons of money for little to nothing. (We paid $3000 for 45 kids + chaperones) Go to any other arcade I bet it’d be much better than what we paid for. (These are pictures of me & my classmates standing around, trying to play the games & being turned away from rides)

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The audacity to charge the prices they do is a shame. This place is run down, dirty, and 70% of the attractions don’t work. Batting cage has multiple stalls only 2 worked and the person running it had to keep coming out to make the balls go in the machine. The miniature golf course is overgrown, has dirty water everywhere and a rundown course. The only thing good was the go carts. The staff was friendly and kept the carts running.

It's a really nice arcade. A lot of fun game options but primarily for younger kids. There are also snacks options inside and toys for purchase. Some of the games were not working though and restrooms were extremely dirty. We also visited the Amaze Light festival which is seasonal during winter times, and the arcade is part of it and located inside. Parking lot was kinda hard to find but if you ask the security around they can point you im the right direction. It is a dirt parking lot and you would need to walk for 10 min from there to the lights ground or take the trolley for 3 min ride but it comes on every 10 min. Once in they do have hot chocolate as a treat among other snacks and drinks but they were out of most of them. It's an outside company that was hired to provide those. There is a small show every 2 hours on the stage for the young kids. The VIP section is right across it. There is also a train ride for the little ones and some other activities, which you have to pay extra for. Definitely worth the money because it is a fun experience. You would need around 2 hours to explore all of the displays and fields.

Odyssey Fun World, Is still a wonderful place. Time spent with family with some outdoor fun is always awesome. Go karts , bumper boats. Food is cooked fresh to order. Like any other outside venue, prices will be high . 4 stars - OFW could really use some upgrades around. Lol, I'm not telling what my kids said about their entrance street signs 🤣.
