Outta Time eXcape Rooms

I'd like to start off by saying I never write reviews, however this is BY FAR the best escape room I've been to. The rooms themselves are so high quality and realistic it doesn't even feel like an escape room! My group had so much fun solving the puzzles and looking for clues. The room was well thought out and had a solid story line. I have no idea how this place isn’t famous yet, it is definitely Charleston’s secret gem. I have tried many escape rooms in different cities and this is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend to anyone considering coming! Extra thanks to the owner for being awesome and making it such a great experience!

Can't say enough good about RJ and Outta Time escape rooms! From the moment we walked in the door, this was a fantastic shift from real life for an hour+. Our room was immersive, well thought out, and fun for my kids and I. Please go support this welcoming business and supremely talented staff that Charleston desperately needs!!!

So much fun! This was our first time here but not our first escape room; we did Poe’s Lament. It was awesome! It’s clear that the owners have thought of many details overall and especially in this Poe-themed room. The “experience” started at the door and was 10/10 from there. I appreciated that there were a variety of puzzles (ie, not all locks and keys). Our guide was awesome, too. So glad to have this local business. We’ll be back!

Not a single complaint about our experience, beginning with the call ahead to make sure that the room would be ready. after hearing about a group that went through and broke things . They assured it would be in perfect working order! We couldn't have been treated better by the host, who was so very welcoming and accommodating of our youngest who was excited and asking so many questions about the props and games. The room were very well done and detailed also challenging enough, but the clues weren't so cryptic as to be impossible. We will definitely return. As my son has not stopped talking about going back. They definitely love what they do and put their heart and soul in to creating an all around awesome and memorable experience.

We've been wanting to do this for a while, but rarely know everyone's schedule 24 hours in advance so it was difficult to actually get ourselves there. I'm so glad we were able finally do a room though because it was fantastic. Our family of 4 and two friends of our teenagers did the "Christmas with the Quantumz" room. It was great! All of the puzzles made sense and everything went along with the theme quite nicely. When we walked in, I really felt like I was back in the 1980's in my grandparent's house. Embarrassingly, we needed help getting started because we all overlooked a key item. (You'd think we were amateurs.) We needed two hints overall, but we managed to escape and walked out feeling like it was money well spent. We enjoyed the room and had fun spending family time together. We've done almost 20 escape rooms, and this was a really good one!
