For disc golf I'd stick to the baskets East of Meade st unless you are confident in your accuracy. That being said tee 8/9 where it crosses the river is pretty fun if you have some throwaway discs. There's technically no access to tee 3/4 from Federal Blvd so take the pedestrian footbridge instead if coming from tee 2.

The Park is really nice, and a lot of things to do for the kids, but safety feels like it could be better. 2 girls came to us asking for money, and other people hanging around the park didn't feel safe. We stopped there on a field trip otherwise I would never go there.

This park is incredibly varied in its options and play. It has tons of climbing within its large tower and tuckered my son out greatly. It is probably best for children 5-6 and up. Theres potential for falls if you are uncoordinated. There was also some trash and graffiti and the structure needs cleaning. I would probably rate 5 stars if those things were in order. Still we had a blast and it was super unique.

My first disc golf course, back in 2007. Lots has changed, for the better mostly. Fewer drug users about, and the park generally seems more family friendly. Very pleased with that change for sure. Glad when the skate park bit went in. The disc golf course could still use quite a bit of work; additions to signage, a course map(for those not on UDisc,) access to restrooms, water? I’m pretty sure I’ve not seen a fountain, are all things that would bump up the experience quite a bit.
