Pinecrest Gardens

I came here to leave a review because some of the bad reviews kept me from coming and honestly, honestly, I was just wasting my time if you don’t appreciate this insanely underrated place you are spoiled beyond belief!!! Just read the signs and head to where you want to go. If you love the outdoors this is the place for you. I brought my 18 months old and she was an absolute heaven. We started at the playground where she met kids her age and the park it’s fantastic. There’s so much for them to climb and explore. I read reviews that it needs to be updated. I mean, I guess but doesn’t every park. I think that’s more of you’re a helicopter parent.. then we went to the splash pad and there were a couple of kids there and my baby had an absolute blast. We went over to the petting zoo although we couldn’t pet any animals which I was fine with she got to see the cow and the goats climbing on the rocks..SO COOL we spent three hours here and there was so much we did an explore because she is just a baby and I am currently pregnant but I will not regret coming here and I will definitely be back. I paid only five dollars for myself because she is a child under two. Cool we went across the way to cool off in the library, which is equally wonderful. She read a couple of books and I got information on events. They hold there for toddlers. I’m so happy I found this. It is a gem and anyone who doesn’t appreciate it needs a reality check !

Great place to bring young children. The playground is terrific with a variety of climbing opportunities as well as a small collection of animals (donkey, cow, chicken, rabbits). The walk around the grounds is flat and easy for children to navigate. Flowers and turtles in addition to a variety of plants. Holiday lights are well done. Great scale for children.

Our family attends the Christmas concert by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band every year. The Pinecrest Gardens Banyan Bowl Theater band shell has 500 seats and great views and acoustics. After the concert, we enjoy walking through the beautiful gardens and looking at the Holiday lights.

It had been some time since I had visited Pinecrest Gardens. Seems as if they expanded to include a cool lizard themed play area, and live animal zoo. With an affordable entrance fee, we’ll be coming here more often - especially when the Farmers Market is going on too.

Went to the Candlelight concert at Pinecrest Gardens. Really cool experience as this was our first time going. I do believe the price point for the event was a little overpriced for what was offered, however the musicians were professional and the event was well organized. Not upset about that. Definitely recommend.
