Had a great experience and the train ride was my favorite. The music is synced to the lights and the staff was great. Greeted you with a smile. Different food vendors on some nights and the photo with Santa was sent to my cell and was able to share with my family. The Escape room was awesome and I think beat the record of 6 min. Be sure to get some Thrifty Ice cream as you walk in. Different bands and entertainment each night. The parade was at 6 pm and the first cowboy show was 630 and another at 8pm. If you have young kids take to the first show as to not tire them out. Adult beverages as great and even saw a large group celebrating their company Christmas Party. Highly recommend. Close and did not have to pay for parking. The parking lot staff is great and very helpful. I hope they continue next year as we will be back again.

This is a top Christmas/Holiday destination for everyone and especially families in the Phoenix area. We thoroughly enjoyed all the entertainment, attractions, food, and drinks available. This event was so big and had a ton of space so that we never felt crowded, regardless of how many people were in the park. The "Cyber Sleigh" was very cool. The elves running around were super talented, thoughtful, and interactive. There were carolers, jugglers, and the Grinch made an appearance as well! There was a parade, a talking Christmas tree, a giant bounce house, and so much more. This really got our family in the holiday spirit. You could tell that a lot went into the planning and execution of this event. There was a train ride that was all lit up with a ton of Christmas lights. There is soooo much to do here, you'll never be bored at this event. Needless to say, this needs to be an annual tradition for everyone in the Phoenix area!!! Thank you for a truly unbelievable time!!! Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year! See you next year!!!

Adorable new holiday experience. This is the first year this event will be running so everything was a brand-new experience. My family & I enjoyed this spot! The Selfie area was a lot of fun snapping photos at all their photo opportunity spots, story time with Mrs. Clause was adorable, the train ride was well done, and we just over all enjoyed walking around looking at everything together. There are two different ticket options for this event, you can purchase general admission which is $25 per adult & $20 per child or if you are planning on buying food + drinks at the event anyways then it may be a better option to try for the VIP option which is $125 per person & I will go over everything included in both packaged. Parking is included with either ticket option, plus they have a fresh Christmas tree lot in the yard if you want to buy a tree after your adventure. Both ticket options include the opening ceremony parade. General Admission includes a photo with Santa, story time with Mrs. Clause where children ten and under will get a free hot chocolate and cookie), you can write a letter to Santa, roll around in a human sized ornament ball, see a cowboy performance, watch one of the live acts they have each night, there are holiday lights along the paths & trees to look at, a "selfie with an Elfie" area that has several different photo opportunities set up. Along with all of that you can pan for gold, visit Santa's workshop, visit the Grinch for photos and check out their pioneer buildings decorated for the holidays. The photos with Santa being included is a huge plus! Other locations like the princess charge $$ to take photos with Santa. There are also extras that can be purchase including the train ride which is set up by World of Illumination or the horse drawn carriage ride. Both rides are $10 per person, the train does have a family pack where you can get five people on for the price of four. The bounce house city is set up by Funbox & is $10 per person, there is also a small escape room for $5 per person. VIP will include everything that the general admission does plus you will receive a light up engraved VIP lanyard, a light up bracelet, your choice of either the train or carriage ride, a coupon for 30% off the gift shop plus access to the VIP lounge area where you will be able to select one of three dinner options & you have a drink voucher you can use at either the lounge or out front for a hot chocolate. The dinners options for the VIP is a Burger, a shredded BBQ chicken sandwich or Mac n Cheese with your choice of toppings, all three options come with cowboy baked beans or chips.

Veterans get in free. General admission will allow you to walk the premises, spectate the show and parade, and other numerous activities surrounding the park. Other aspects were sold separately. I.e., rides, ticket games. A 16oz bottle of plastic Coke is $5. They don't recycle. The bounce castle is $10 per person, dirty, and you have to sign a waiver, providing all of your personal information. It had two teenagers inside working. They both were on their phones, with the airpods in. Do not wear nice shoes. They will get dirty. Santa was fantastic. The talking tree was hilarious. Buy and beware experience, folks.

We loved our time at Pioneer Winter Wonderland! Yes, you can expect to pay for entry as well as extra cost for train, bounce house, and a couple of other things. It would be more convenient if a couple of the things were somehow bundled (other than the VIP)… however at the $20-$25 entrance fee and the activities we choose, I feel like the pricing is in line with other activities our family has done. Our kids loved Elf School, bouncing ($10 for the whole night.. worth it!), the train is amazing (line can be long, so do it early right after the parade)! The show is fun! Mrs. Claus was very excited, my kids loved the story and cookie! The characters and employees are all so great! Very much in character and cheerful! We loved getting photos with The Grinch and Cindy Lou, as well as Santa! You can even get the Grinch to take someone from your party to “jail.” There’s a donation to bail them out, it supports Youth for Troops. All the food is amazing! And some of them are large portions.. definitely shareable. We sampled and shared from a few of the trucks! We’ve been twice and definitely saw some improvements from our first visit (early in the season) to the second (mid-December) I look forward to next year and years to come being an even better experience! Good Job Pioneer Winter Wonderland!
