The area My family and friends stayed in was ok, but when it said one room held 4 we thought two bunk beds all the same size, well no it was one bed with a twin size bed up top and a queen on bottom. Also we only had one pillow each and 2 of us had none, but we get more pillows later, the bunk bed is hard to get up and very loud when shook, also in the same room u can see pipes behind some wall decor, the boat dock is to short and we had to bring an extra rope to tie off. There is also no stove, only a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, coffee brewer, toaster, and plug in burner. The outside is OK it has a nice outdoor table and grill, but some sketchy wood. In my opinion the house we stayed in is more for a medium family, like 3-4 kids and 2 parents and maybe like a friend, because the small room has two twins and one queen but nobody wants to sleep with someone unless they are together, the master has a queen, and the living room has a pull out. The pool is nice it seems clean all the time. Also pirates cove is very close to a boat rental place so thats good. Overall it's ok.

We rented a room (#10) for the weekend. The room was inexpensive so I expected about what I got. It was clean and the air conditioner in this unit worked great since it was 90 degrees. Shower did not have great water pressure, but I have been in 4 store hotels that also have this issue. My issues: the bed was extremely hard and you could feel the coils, manager on duty was very nice, but we brought our boat and he told us we could launch at campground or at boat rental place. Despite having multiple boat docks on site, there is no place to launch on the property. We had to pay a 15.00 fee and got a lot of attitude from both the campground and the boat rental place. It really isn't that big of a deal about the fee...just wish we would have been better informed and also not caught in the middle of the campgrounds management and pirates cove. It would be beneficial for PC and the campground to work something out for future guests or at least be better informed.

Great location to Indiana Beach attractions (right across the street). My family and I spent a few days in Cottage #3. The cottage suited our basic needs for sleeping and eating, but it could use a little TLC. The kitchen and bathroom sinks were not draining properly and the shower curtain in the bathroom needed to be replaced because it was moldy. It's what you'd expect in an older typical lake cottage. My kids enjoyed the pool, and overall we enjoyed our stay. The manager, Andy, was extremely nice and helpful when we needed something. The only annoying encounter we had was when we tried to board the ferry to ride over to Indiana Beach. The ferry driver would not let us board because we purchased our tickets online and didn't have our wristbands on yet. Apparently, you have to go to the campground next door to get your wristbands before riding the ferry over to the amusement park. That wasted about an hour of our time. But, once in the park, my kids had a blast all day until the park shut down.

I booked our room last minute and had no issues doing so. We had a great weekend in a cabin type room and loved it. Their pool was nice, the room was clean, it was walking distance to Indiana Beach and the air worked great. The staff were all friendly and helpful and could't have been more courteous. I tried to find a place that would allow me to bring my 3 rabbits and they did for a great rate which surprised me! I highly recommend this resort.

I've been coming here with my family for years. It's the perfect location, right across the water from Indiana Beach. The staff has always been amazing to my entire family, and when I say entire family, I mean from my grandma, to her 11 children, and 86 grandchildren. Yes, we usually rent out all of the cottages and several of the hotel rooms and stay for a week. The grounds are well-kept, most cooking items are provided and the staff is on hand at any time of day.
