Puzzle Effect Escape Rooms - Denver

We had the best time ever at Puzzle Effect! We have done a lot of Escape Rooms and this was definitely one of the best ever! Our Game Master Alyssa was awesome! She really kept track of our progress and gave us hints at just the right time when we were stuck! You won’t be sorry you played here!

This place is fantastic! Very easy to reserve online, prompt email w details and directions. Super friendly and communicative staff. An excellent prep video before we went into the escape room. The room itself was wonderfully decorated with props, we loved the Harry Potter theme! The hints came at just the right time. It definitely wasn’t too easy & presented the right amount of challenge and we really all had to work together to succeed. We will absolutely be going back!

We finished the 45 min Christmas room in 16 minutes, not even worth the drive. :/ I had the impression it was originally meant to be a one hour room but it was too easy so they made it 45 min (still too easy). The other rooms in the building were open and looked beautiful but we had the impression Puzzle Effect just slapped a Christmas "face" on an old easy kids' room to bring in some extra cash during the holidays. (Christmas-themed intro video and "Santa's bag" in the corner - that's it. The game was set in a boys' bedroom and was really geared toward a 10 year old kid.) We actually wanted to play back-to-back rooms. I asked the guy at the desk repeatedly before we played the Christmas room which game we could play immediately after and he could not care less. They were full for some reason. In the end I'm glad we didn't book a second game since the first one was so disappointing. I don't know how this place has a 4.9* average; their other rooms have to be better.

My son and I did the Naughty Ned Escape room and he absolutely loved it. Our host Alyssa was awesome! She was patient and helpful and made the experience great. We truly enjoyed this escape room if you have older kids or teens this is definitely a go to. We love puzzle effect we have had amazing experiences each time we have come! Thank you

After years of playing escape games on my phone, I finally got the chance to play a real escape room for the first time, and it was so fun! My husband and I did the Curse of the Emerald Seas, (and we appreciate that this location allows as little as 2 people to a game). With some extra much-needed hints near the end, we solved it with 1.5 minutes to spare. What a rush, LOL! Loved the story, good instructions, and fun piratey vibe. They created a lot of unique little puzzles and did great designing with the smaller space. I highly recommend this theme, too. The staff was also friendly, which is a big plus.
