Round1 Bowling & Arcade The Maine Mall

I took a trip to Maine to visit this round 1 because it's the second closest round 1 to me. I was extremely happy with the location, staff, game selection, and prizes. The staff are super friendly and this round 1 had some unique game cabinets that I have never seen before. It was definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend checking it out if you're a fan of arcades and claw machines.

Well, we took our 10-year-old son there for a birthday party and had about the worst experience we could’ve had. The lines were long. The staff had no interest in helping anybody. They were far from accommodating. The restaurant had no food in it. Literally everything we asked for they said they were out of so they didn’t have any food that we could feed any of the children. The bathrooms are filthy. Nobody was polite smiled, or anything. We will avoid going there at all costs in the future unless we have to. Thankfully the kids had fun because otherwise we would never return and still will avoid it at all costs.

It was nice the place was open til 2 am with a bar and food. Easy to blow $200 with our lil family between food and games. Recommend match latte with a shot of rum

I've been coming here for a few years and have always enjoyed it. As of lately the experience has been pretty bad. Cabinets lag often when playing them, prices for a lot of games have gone up making the experience less enjoyable, and some games just didn't work period. Food was another story. I went into the line knowing it wasn't going to be Gordan Ramsey's beef Wellington lmao but these workers need help. Having them take care of the bar and food is too much for three people especially on a weekend. No order numbers leads to confusion. spent about 40 minutes in total waiting for my order to come out, a mother and her son takes the order thinking its theirs but the kid already ate it and I'm not going to yell at a mother trying to feed her kid. Get order numbers, makes it so much easier for the workers and customers.

TIME PLAY CARDS WERE UNAVAILABLE ALL WEEKEND. 3/8/25. We drove an hour to go to the arcade specifically and when we got there, were told that the time play cards were out across the entire country and that they had been out since Friday and it was Saturday. If we wanted to play games, we would have to buy a much more expensive play card. $10 for an hour time play card vs. $16-80 regular game cards. The $16 regular card last in my daughter about 20 minutes. The manager in a suit was unaccommodating and very haughty. We usually love it there but this is the SECOND time now we’ve driven there to find out that the time cards to play video games were unavailable on a weekend. Very disappointing.
