Was so much fun most definitely a cheap one day if you have a membership at the zoo! I didn't catch a picture of the waterfall. I will update next time!

Non swimmers have to pay; small area, crowded, not enough shade; areas (or complete area) not always working/open - we once had the entire area shutdown 5 minutes after we arrived, continually told 'almost ready'.. over an hour in all; no discount or refund.

We were there yesterday, first time to the Safari Splash, not first time to the zoo or a splash pad. Our son is 21 months and in my opinion too young for this venue. There are small slides for toddlers but the proximity to the large slides means a lot of bumping and pushing of little kids. I also wish there were lockers for belongings. I was in the spray zone with my toddler so keeping my diaper bag and personal belongings on me weren't an option. The big slides looked fun, but the monitoring was not done. On the red slide, a kid was climbing up it and actively ignoring the employee who was telling him to get down. I personally witnessed 3 kids get hit/injured on the blue side as a kid was climbing up, but since it was a tunnel slide the attendant at the top couldn't see. Several parents were yelling up at her and it took a couple of kids before she heard. I reccomend some kind of loud speaker to call out descriptions of the child so the adult they came with can come grab them and leave if it's a continuous issue. We won't be back until he's a bit older and can fend for himself a bit more. Personally I'd reccomend ages 5 and up for this place. All and all he did have a good time, minus the getting hit, pushed a few times
