I had a lot of fun with my kids at this waterpark, but overall, it left much to be desired. While I wanted to rate it 3 stars for the memories, the experience only merits 2 stars. First, a tip: buy your tickets in advance—you’ll save $10 to $15 per person. However, even at the discounted rate, the $60/person (weekday) price tag feels excessive, especially with half the park closed. The cleanliness was disappointing. The stairs to the slides had trash scattered along the sidelines—surely adding a few trash cans isn’t too much to ask? Worse, the trash cans weren’t emptied often enough, leaving the area with a constant unpleasant smell. For a park of this size and cost, basic upkeep should be a given. The staff accommodations were shocking. I saw employees using a makeshift shack as a break area, sitting on the floor to eat their snacks. It was uncomfortable just watching them. Investing in their comfort would likely lead to better service—which, unfortunately, was already lacking. On the bright side, the boogie board experience was a hit! My kids loved it, and it was the highlight of our visit. But one ride can’t make up for the park’s shortcomings. Galveston deserves a better waterpark. Until significant improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend it at the current price.

Stay away from this place. Paid over $450 for my family to come enjoy our Saturday. More than half the park is shut down due to either broken motors on slides or no lifeguards. Yet all food and merchandise shops are open. Several families in line complaining for money back. Guest services were no help. No corporate person to speak to. Save your money and stay away from this place.

Just arrived with family of 6 paying hundreds of dollars for daily admission to find out half the park is closed. They have enough staff here for concessions and just a few basic crowded rides. Immediately we asked for refund as we were not aware of the park being mostly closed. The managers at guest relations says it’s not there problem and will not refund anything once paid even if we do not go into the park. This is a management issue. The lower level staff was great but supervision and management is terrible. Never going back and will encourage anyone else to go elsewhere with so many better options even staying home and going to your neighborhood pool is a better value.

Oh my goodness, this is the place our 8 & 4 yr old grandson's LOVE ❤️ going EVERY summer. We have been getting season passes since 2021, we always have to get a fast pass well worth it, but you HAVE to get a souvenir cup, trust me no more carrying in ALL those drinks. One thing I DON'T like at all is the guards in the children pool next to the hot tub section, they DON'T like keeping an eye on children, guards for the Torrent River don't ALWAYS be watching those who like to take off their vest when it IS REQUIRED at some points, & employees who are off duty think that ALL their friends and/ or family get to go first OVER ur paid for fast pass. These I speak of where my grandson's were trying to get on the boogie board, there was 3 off duty guards who said they boogie board section was gonna be shut down for some 30 minutes or so, then laugh at my grandson because he told the guards he has a fast pass, they in turn told him it's shutdown, but continued to allow their friends to go, I asked them what is the problem & why my grandson's go they laughed & said yall stupid. Yes, I did tell one of them if their is a problem laughing at my grandson's, telling them they can't go, & saying we are stupid, I in turn said well let's go outside the gate and see you say that to my. I talked to about 8-10 people (police, security guards, & lifeguard bosses) WITH NO REAL settlement & my grandson's were treated badly by the lifeguard on duty. Also, one other thing I DON'T like is they should make it REQUIRED to have a baby in double tubes with bottoms, or do like the New Braunfels parks and have child ONLY tubes. Fix those issues it'll be back to a 5-star water park. It depends on what time you arrive on how long you will in Galveston, but New Braunfels is WAY faster to get in.

Had a great time. The weather paused the pool for awhile, but when it was safe they let everyone back in. Kids were well okay with staying in the lazy river all day. We didn't eat anything, but the adults got some frozen drinks. 🍻 Bought a couple items from the gift shop.
