Classic wooden roller coaster that is what you would expect from such a roller coaster. I like the fact that it is rough but not too rough like some wooden coasters tend to be. There are some nice drops and you get some good speed on the ride. It does have some coverage in the line pathways if there is a wait so you can get some shade if it is hot and sunny out. I deducted a star because the covered areas offer shade in line but they can get hot when it is crowded. I also prefer more in a roller coaster so these typically are not for me but it is still fun.

The Screamin’ Eagle is running fantastic this year! It’s just the right amount of roughness without being too much. Great pops of airtime over the hills. The new entry way looks great with the repainted old sign. This coaster has aged well.

Was a little rough, but my second favorite wooden coaster at SFSTL. It was moderately enjoyable, The forest area around the ride adds a nice atmosphere. Overall, it was a fine wooden coaster, despite the roughness. 5.5/10

Edit sept. 2024: Sadly in bad condition. It’s great until you hit the bottom of the first drop. At the bottom of every. Single. Drop. You get bumped super hard. An oldie but a goodie. Plenty of airtime.

DO NOT GO ON THIS RIDE!!! It’s okay for littler kids but if your 10 or up it will hurt bad!!! When you go down the hills it hurts your back and neck a lottttt, I just came back and I went two hours ago and my back is in excruciating pain, I’m only 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
