After decades of looking I finally found it! It is a beautiful sign with excellent contrast between the white lettering and green background. If you’ve been looking for it you too can experience the bliss of achieving a life long goal.

This sign, placed in the spring of 2019, makes a great photo opportunity, but it's not worth going out of your way just to see it. It is a real New York City street sign bearing the official commemorative alternate name for a few blocks of W 63rd St between Central Park West and Broadway. This street sign is NOT designed to replicate the style of the sign from the television show.

Well at least I know where Sesame street is. The show is deeply misleading about it's location.
