Edit: make that 3 rides today down mid line queue. They are stuck up there. Hard nope for this park now. --- My kids' first theme park experience today in a few years. Every ride for the 4yo had a moderate queue. That was awesome for her. Super young kids, highly recommend this park. But for my 10yo, we waited in two rides for over 1.5 hours each, only for both of them to shut down for maintenance. We wasted most of our day waiting in lines only for rides to shut down. I want to try again for my kid, ....but not here. I recommend any other theme park right now. And $18 for a slice of pizza? They have lost all of their damn minds.

First time at this location, been to Six Flags Great America in IL tons of times, so I had to visit this location when visiting family 馃帰 This location has a solid thrill roller coaster lineup, from Doctor Diabolical to Iron Rattler (#1 pick). The unique location in an old quarry makes this location unique 馃彏 Visited with family on a Monday during Thanksgiving break, and there were little wait times for all the coasters! With only 4-5 hours till close, we were able to ride 8+ thrill coasters 鈴筹笍 Although it got dark pretty quick during our trip, they had the Christmas lights set up throughout the park, which was absolutely beautiful. The park has a lot of character, and you can tell a great amount of effort was put into this 馃巹 The only con was that prices for food are crazy... like at any six flags location. $9 for a bare bones hot dog and $2 for a small side of cheese if you want some flavor with your stale $10 pretzel 馃エ Other than that, the experience was really enjoyable, and I hope to visit again to try out the remaining coasters 馃専

10/10 if you love coasters. Came here for my bday today because I love coasters and I had a blast. They have a lot of Christmas decorations and a lot of fun stuff. All the employees are great and they look out for your safety. Now the least recommended ride is The Joker. My most recommended is chupacabras(aka Goliath).

I have waited to write a review after several months of having our Six Flags Season membership. I am unimpressed with this amusement park. A huge problem is the lack of traffic control around closing time. The park needs to invest in police officers/ employees to manage the parking lot and to help with traffic. The park is not kept as clean as it could be with just a little bit more effort. I haven't found any of the employees to be particularly friendly or helpful. All of them seem annoyed at having to be there and don't seem to exhibit any proper customer service skills. The bathrooms are consistently out of soap and paper towels are overflowing the trash cans. The outdoor eating tables near all of the restaurants are consistently dirty and no one appears to wipe them on a regular basis either outside or inside. The main 50s themed Diner is so gross looking. It definitely needs a deep cleaning and the counter where you order the food is always sticky and dirty. The unlimited cup refill is also so unsanitary and having the lids rest on all of the surfaces and the employees hold the cups to refill is concerning. The Rollercoaster Ride "wait information screen" doesn't appear to work or definitely isn't accurate. I have been to plenty of other amusement parks that seem to be maintained better (Stone Mt in GA, Bush Gardens in VA & FL, Kings Dominion in VA to name a few) This park lacks the charm of so many other parks. The merchandise isn't particularly special and certainly not worth the cost. Some of the rules are silly and unnecessary. I wasn't allowed to ride the carousel because my baby didn't have shoes on. She is a baby that I have to hold in my lap, why does her shoes matter? There are too many lower pothole areas of the sidewalk where gross water pools that you have to lookout for even when it's sunny outside. Too many rides are not open when we are at the park. Everything costs way too much. Only with the membership does it even make sense to go. I also really disliked the Halloween Spook Fest with way too many scary looking employees walking around scaring young little kids. Highly inappropriate. So in conclusion, I find the park rather unimpressive and not cared for although my older kids enjoy going so I'm giving it 3 stars since it is also close to my house.

We weren't ready for how absolutely amazing this park is. The grounds are stunning the quarry wall is restrictive but adds so much to the visual aesthetic of this park. The ride lineup is absolutely amazing. You have to have a great wooden coaster for my girlfriend to want to marathon it and that's exactly what they have in the hybrid Iron Rattler coaster. We were kinda let down by the intensity of Dr Diabolical but it was a fun ride and the theming was obviously top notch. The theming absolutely rocks for Poltergeist too, my girlfriend was in love with that quue although the ride itself was super rough at points. The only downside was that there were some ride closures while we were there, the mine train, batman and at times Wonder Woman. That should tell you exactly how much I loved our trip to this park because despite those closures it was still a 5 star day. I must mention the fact that they have free EV chargers in the parking lot. GREAT MOVE by Six Flags, we love to see that.
