Six Flags Over Georgia

Finally stepping up their game. They have some shows and some typically closed rides open. Christmas theme was in full effect. Have to give the Holiday Spectacular @ The Crystal Pistol Music Hall a thumbs up. It was about 30 min long with a handful of songs and it was nice and enjoyable. Had a few rides down for maintenance (guessing end of the year) but characters were out and about and the lines were fairly short on most rides in this offseason time. However, their customer service has definitely improved over this past year.

We have been before, but this trip was to see the holiday lights. We waited until after Christmas, Friday of the last weekend for the lights. It was not busy compared to our summer visit! We hardly had to wait in line for any of the rides, which was absolutely excellent for my teen who gets very anxious waiting in line for rides. It did start drizzling some later in the evening, but everything stayed open and running until the rain got a little heavier. Then some rides had to close. However because we did not have to wait in line earlier, we got to ride everything that we had wanted to ride! It was a really fun afternoon. We loved all of the holiday lights and decorations. They had a s'mores roasting station, some places serving hot cocoa, and even a North Pole area where you could play in fake snow and do some crafts if you wanted to.

Six Flags was awesome! I am used to Universal in Disney being from Florida, but this place was super cheap, not very crowded, and the staff were very friendly. I went to their Halloween event, which only had five haunted houses, I was a little disappointed at that, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the operation of the park. The superman ride broke down for 20 minutes, maintenance came and had everything fixed and tested within 20 minutes. I would definitely come here again!

We purchased our tickets online and printed them out. We were told at the entry gate that they were not tickets for Six Flags, even though they were purchased directly from your website and were branded with the Six Flags logo. We waited in the ticket line for 45 minutes only to be told that the tickets were legit and the ticket agent had to walk us over to the agent at the entry gate and tell her that the tickets are legit?! My son was pulled out of the line to be told to take off his jewelry and belt?! We had the All Day Dining Unlimited passes, however they were limited to only one drink every 90 minutes. Also, multiple locations that “accepted “ the dining passes were closed and/or said they don’t accept them, such as all of the restaurants in Lickskillet area, like the Funnel Cake stand. We were not informed of any instructions on the Photo pass even after waiting in line at the ticket office and having all of our tickets reviewed and checked out for authenticity, so I went to guest relations before leaving for the night to find out what can be done. The agent, Lucky, was extremely rude and told me to go walk over to each ride and scan the QR code. Mind you, it’s 30mins before the park closes. I asked if we could use it for another day and she is visibly annoyed at me and walks away. She returned with someone else who said we could use them for another day. Great! I then asked Lucky if I could purchase tickets for the next day and she tells me to go online and do it. I didn’t expect extravagant customer service, considering the location of the park, however we were treated like crap by multiple people! My son was made fun of for his Balenciaga boots by a ride attendant at Superman. The Victorian Actors were rude and didn’t interact with us as they walked by.

Very cold day, but we had a lot of fun! Had several rides not running, but I believe that was just due to the cold. One thing I would change that is kind of petty, why is there only one place in the entire place that has coffee? Should be all over the park, especially when it's cold out.
