Sloomoo Institute

Great place to take your kids! Even my wife was skeptical because she isn’t a fan of slime, but she admitted to having a lot of fun as well! It’s great for sensory and you can get through it all in about an hour or so. Everyone who goes through needs to purchase a ticket as well. The slime smells were fun to choose from and the staff were all fun and welcoming. We loved the demonstration class as well! Definitely come here if you have some youngin’s you are trying to keep busy while in the hustle and bustle of NYC.

I will admit, I was skeptical. My kids love slime, but I don't. My sister and I took our girls here (ages 9 - 15) for a birthday treat, and it was truly great. Even us adults enjoyed it! The place was very clean, with wipe stations in every room. The different types of slime textures, colors, and scents were exciting as you entered each new area. And the interactive stations kept everything interesting. I love that every person gets to create their own slime to take home, with lots of different scent, color, and texture options. I will definitely be back with my younger child, and would absolutely recommend this as a great day to spend some time with the kids. Location was also pretty easy to get to!

I recently visited the Sloomoo Institute with my son, and we had an absolute blast! The slime-themed activities were a huge hit, but what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional staff member, Travis. Travis's ability to connect with children is phenomenal. His engaging dialogue and humor had the kids (and adults!) in stitches. I was impressed by how effortlessly he facilitated interactions, making everyone feel comfortable and included. The Sloomoo Institute is lucky to have Travis on their team. He's a true asset, and I highly recommend recognizing his outstanding service. What a fun experience with my friend and her beautiful daughters. The oldest girl loved to explore all over the Sloomoo Institute. However, the youngest one didn't seem to enjoy so much at first because she thought that it's like p**p but later she had fun and played around with her sister. The staffs were friendly and communicative. Luckily, there was no line when we were there

Very exhilarating activity and it's fun for the whole family. The company is inclusive and they have staff with autism or identifies neurodivergent. However, I don't know how this translates to an activity for a child with autism, because there can be a sensory overload for a child on the spectrum, because there's a lot of sounds going on and a lot of activity. It was very fun. Playing with the slime alone is very cathartic. This is just a tip for those with kids on the spectrum 🩵💚
