Snowcat Ridge

Fun place, lots to keep you busy. A little pricey but worth going our first time. Staff was helpful and it wasn't too crowded which was perfect. Ice skating rink is very nice. Perfect for the little ones too. The tubing hills were fun! Just high and fast enough. The family tube is fast and a little bumpy but so much fun. Loved the indoor igloo. Was fun making and throwing snowballs and they have a small tube hill for the little ones. It was a good day.

It was definitely an experience! It was very pricey in my opinion, I spent approximately $250 for one adult and two children over 2 years old. That was general admission with two meal tickets & general parking on a weekday. Strongly recommend to purchase meal tickets when you buy admission tickets, also recommend bringing your own water bottle, there is a refill station there. Bringing cash is unnecessary because they don't take it, If only have cash you will need to get a gift card to purchase things on there lot. Hope this helps. It was a ton of fun. Can't wait to do it again next year.

Looking for real snow and ice in Central FL? Go here! I thought the tubing hills and ice skating rink were a tourist gimmick made of shiny white plastic...until I touched the frozen icy surfaces with my own hands! This place is amazing and totally worth the money. The food is pricy and ordinary, but portioned to fill up even the most hungry in your group. An absolute must for Florida children and anyone 60 and younger in good health. Our tandem tube topped speeds around 30 mph! The children loved the ice skating rink and spent hours there. The igloo structure with wind and snow was a cold contrast to the 80° sunny temps outside and a fun place for all of us.

First timers, we drove over an hour to get here. The cost is too high since they are charging for every single thing. Don't bother printing off the waiver at home as mine did not print the bottom portion of the form. The form is actually longer than regular printing paper, so we had to complete the forms again once we arrived. I think the tubes should be already up at the top or have all the tubes sent back up automatically like the blue big group ones. Tubing should be longer than 2 hours, giving the crowd. The tubing was pure ice, not snow. Hurts flying down the hill, and then boom, hit bottom hard. Staff seemed uptight, and many were complaining about their work schedules. However, the fire pit, s'mores, and ice skating were nice to do. Our son enjoyed himself Christmas eve, but this was a one and done for our family.

This is a genius idea for those of us that miss the feeling of sledding and snow! We were able to go down the slopes multiple times in the 2 hour timeframe. The igloo was awesome and def gives you the real feel of snow and walking in it. I also liked that they had firepits. Great park to visit for sure!
