Super 8 by Wyndham Charlotte/Amusement Park Area

The front desk guy Roge was great along with the house keepers friendliness. They were very very friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself at least the room I stayed in 313 was good for if you just didn't want to sleep in your car. I killed at least 4 roaches in 4 days. The rug was heavily stained along with the walls and the curtains.The water pressure was almost unbearable because it had nothing to control the water flow. It sprayed all over the place. In the sink and the shower. For the sink we had to remember not to turn it on normally but to lightly pull up or water was going to splash all over you and the floors, toilet mirror and walls. The bed felt like 2 box springs. The mattress was not comfortable at all but I always travel with many pillows so I was able to make it work. They only had muffins and coffee but ran out of muffins 3 out of the 4 days I stayed. My personal opinion it was the worst Super 8 experience I have ever had. Most Super 8 I've ever stayed in have had a full complimentary breakfast. Like waffles or pancakes, cereal, juices and some have even had package breakfast sandwiches in other states. Most of the workers was so nice so I dealt with in order not to have to look elsewhere at such last minute notice with the busy schedule we had. I took pictures as well to cover myself. I had to sweep and wipe down the room before actually staying in or sister saw because she would have had us searching for another room in the odd time of the night had I not prepared it enough to be at least durable to try make it work for us. Lost 1 day of sleep after getting in late because kids was running in the hallway very early in the morning. I had earplugs on and still was disturb by it because it was so loud. About time I decided to report it the people had already left because it was after 11am. Forgot to mention the heat didn't work along with some of the plugs. I'm a hot person anyway so I brought my own blankets with sheets. So was able to manage not freezing. Air did work tho, used it first to blow the room out for smell purposes. My sister have a nose to detect mold so I use air to kill smell some.

Right off the eway and in the cuts- might not look good during this time of the year but it smells clean n is clean walking in. Plenty of parking, even by the door. Check in was simple besides a minor internet issue. Got to the room, it was clean. Neat n tidy, the bathroom was better then expected, fully stocked good towels clean tub n nice flowing sink. The beds are comfortable, nice sized tv, and the air n heat work. There was no security door latch for our room- kinda sucked but wasn’t really necessary as the rooms weren’t really full n not too many sketchy tenants. Also wish there was more lighting in the room. Could def use led bulbs. Overall decent stay for 3nights

After changing three rooms finally could stay for one night..first room toilet was not flashing, second room baby cockroaches were allover our beds, third room we stayed.. because it was too late at night of long drive ..in morning after waiting 20min there was no reception to give the keys.. We were a couple.. Any way RAJ the receptionist is a real nice gentleman ,

Worst hotel stay ever. Guests were noisy and the room was a throwback roach motel type experience. I booked the room because of the Wyndham name but I was definitely fooled

The room was not up to the mark . The heater was not working. And we already booked the hotel and paid them .. still, they said it is fully booked, and they give us room with zero working heater. Please, next time, if you dnt have a room at least, call us or inform us . Traveling with family and when we reach we found no room / room with no heater in winters it is not good.
