The Otter Island kids aqua park was a great. Took our two very energetic boys to burn some energy. Place is super clean. Staff is super chill. Cool vibes. We will definitely be returning. They really did an amazing job rejuvenating this place!

Awesome park that just got 10x better! This park has been around for over 2 decades and has been a great place for wakeboarding and water activities, but they just recently put a lot of time and money into making it much better and it’s a huge improvement! Lots of brand new UNIT wakeboard features that riders of all levels will appreciate, and a perfect size aqua park for people just looking to have fun and cool off, with a beautiful seating area as well! Very excited to see all the big things happening here, and highly recommend coming to check it out!

Visited on10/5/24 just to do Otter Island. Probably only 10-15 people on the obstacle course during our hour session 12p. Bought tickets online and did waiver in advance. Kids had a blast and enjoyed it. Nice sitting area and we brought drinks and snacks in and no one stopped us. Great value for $12/hour. Wish they did like a 2hr for $20 special or something like that. We would’ve bought a second hour but kids really needed a break for a drink/snack.

To be honest - I sucked at getting up. I will just eat humble pie all day on this one. The staff is genuinely kind - 5 stars to them. I’ve been to a couple cable parks before. I ride goofy (right foot forward) and this park pulls you in a clockwise fashion which is harder for me. I learned at a cable park that pulled you counter clockwise. So why a 2 star review: 1) I took two friends that didn’t want to wake board but talked them into driving an hour there and an hour back to the beach because of the aqua park. I bought my ticket ahead of time and since they wanted to see the aqua park first we didn’t pre buy their tickets. When we got there the aqua park was closed. That was really disappointing after driving an hour and leaving the beach. 2) I sucked at getting up. That’s not their fault; but the speed at which their cable pulls is crazy fast. I mean pull your shoulder out of socket fast. I asked the guy and he told me it rips at full speed (31 km/h) through the week and they slow it down on the weekends. For the new beginners come back on a weekend. Okay - I’m not a pro, but I can wake behind our 2022 ski boat without issue and I’ve gotten up at the Orlando park a number of times. 3) We went on a Thursday and the park was dead, there were three grown men trying their best to get up and a fourth guy lapping us all. I felt they should have offered to slow down the cable system, but they didn’t they just tried to talk me back into coming on a weekend for beginners - which fine okay I sucked, but dang I sure didn’t think it was at that stage of a beginner. So if you are a beginner - do NOT come here during the week. I think that’s a fair statement. 4) Lastly at the water park in Orlando you can sit on the edge of the dock and it’ll pull you up. I asked the guy and he said no that’s not how theirs was designed - they have longer ropes and you have to start standing. So I felt like you had to nail a trick before you could even start to wake. You start standing and it pulls the crap out of you a 31 km/h and you face plant - kudos to the kids and people that can manage all of that but if you’re new to this or you even slightly thought you were good at wake boarding - this isn’t the course for you. If someone had left a review like this I probably wouldn’t have driven this far out of the way nor spent the money to try it out. It is a clean park, and the seating areas are new and beautiful,

This wakeboarding park is THE REAL THING in a beautiful setting: ++ very competent and child friendly staff doubling as coaches ++ built for wakeboarding: long parcour with easy and one very difficult, narrow turn + cool classic 70's rock + some excellent wakeboarders always on site - very inspiring! + very good operator of wakeboarding jumping off point + lots of ramps of different difficulties + all equipment on site for rent + lots of shade under pavilions + easy to get close to the action for photographers DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE: entrance doubles as entrance for RV park
