The Escape Game The Colony

Did the Gold Rush for my first Escape room experience. I with with a date and we were paired with 2 other adult couples who'd booked the same theme/time. You solve mental puzzles to determine codes or keys that unlock boxes. Each box contains clues to solve more mental puzzles. You progress through a few "rooms" and go down a slide. If you want, you can push a button on the wall to attain additional clues if you're feeling stumped. There's a countdown clock on the wall and you have 1 hour to solve all the puzzles. The Gold Rush is a 7/10 difficulty. It definitely took all our minds working as a team to solve all the puzzles. We didn't really use the additional clues and escaped with time to spare. They gave us all a sticker to celebrate big moment. I enjoyed the experience - would definitely return to try another theme. After we escaped we were given the option to play another game for 40% off or buy gift cards for a future visit at 20% off. I originally booked the the wrong day by mistake - called to change it with no issues. Then, day of, I was running behind and was able to push back my game time from 7pm to 8pm (switching from Prison Break to Gold Rush). Staff was super friendly and accommodating over the phone and in person.

M and Mary were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they immediately made us feel comfortable and excited to start our escape room adventure. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Their passion for the game was evident, and it truly enhanced our experience. Definitely recommend!

The first of what I hope becomes many team-building/engagement events. We escaped Gold Rush and it was so much fun! Carter, our game guide was great. Will definitely be back to give another room a go

Paul was our host, he was awesome and very encouraging. We had a great time playing the gold rush room, very creative and interactive. Honestly it was probably one of the most fun escape rooms I have done yet!

This was an amazing experience! We had a great time doing the special ops room. It was at a difficulty of 8 and we really enjoyed it. Ari was such a sweetheart. She helped us a long the way if we needed her and thoroughly explained the rules and game before we started. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Ari.
