We were visiting Maine and wanted something to do and came across this escape room. We did the butchers basement, world on edge, and the speak easy. The butchers basement was our favorite. You definitely have to think on this one and pay attention. The speak easy was fun. And world on edge can get be a little confusing. However we enjoyed them all. I definitely recommend coming here and trying out the rooms.

It was our first time not only at The Escape Room in Portland, Maine but in any escape room ... ever! We had a BLAST! The Blind Tiger Speakeasy room was fantastic! filled with period pieces from the 1920s and 30s. We managed to escape (barely) with just 8 minutes to spare! We can't wait to come back and try the other rooms!

There were a group of 4 of us - 3 of us who had not done any escape room before. We did the Lost City adventure. It was a lot of fun with interesting and challenging puzzles. It was a great experience. The location in Portland was very nice with a great waiting room. We'll be back to do the other escapes.

Had a wonderful work event here. I had two rooms, both amazing, dun, and challenging. Directions well advised. However, hosting a larger than 10 people group, be very precise on head count as no adjustments were made once paid (pay to book reservation) we overpaid a bit. I enjoyed the themes, team building, and environment. Parking is a challenge.

My wife and I did the Intermediate escape room just the two of us. We showed up 15 minutes early for the reserved time, the process to get in was super easy and chill. The experience was fantastic, hard puzzles , match making, the hints are perfect without giving away the total information; you the player have all the power to ask for as much help as you need while the staff will send hints appropriately timed throughout the room. You feel accomplished when it's all said and done. Would definitely come again next time we are in Maine.
