An amazing maybe better alternative than Gatlinburg. I’d you have kids and or with a group of people not looking to ski or snowboard this is an amazing next best. Good food options, quaintly decorated for the holidays! There’s a beautiful walking path fully lit of Christmas lights. Attractions for the little ones and adults alike. 10/10

This a great place for the whole family. They have shopping, restaurants, dancing water fountain, rides and arcade for the kids, ropes courses and the huge Ferris wheel. The whole place was nicely decorated with holiday cheer. And there are tons of free parking adjacent to the main area. Recommended!

I recently visited The Island in Pigeon Forge for the first time during the evening, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere at night is magical, with the entire area beautifully illuminated by colorful lights that create a vibrant, festive ambiance. One of the highlights of my visit was the Market Street walk. Strolling through the market, I was captivated by the variety of shops and boutiques offering everything from unique souvenirs to delicious treats. The shops are diverse, catering to all kinds of interests, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The Island is also home to a mesmerizing fountain show, perfectly synchronized to music, which added an extra layer of entertainment to the night. The vibrant lights dancing in time with the music created a relaxing yet energetic vibe that was hard to pull away from. Beyond the shopping and the fountain, The Island offers plenty of fun attractions and rides, making it a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy a lively night out. Even if you're not into rides, just walking around and soaking in the atmosphere is an experience in itself. The entire area was clean and well-maintained, and it felt safe and family-friendly. There were ample seating areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and the layout made it easy to explore without feeling crowded, even with the bustling nighttime crowd. Overall, The Island in Pigeon Forge is a must-visit, especially at night when the lights and energy make it truly special. It's a place where you can unwind, have fun, and make lasting memories.

My family and I love stopping by here before we head back home from Gatlinburg ! You definitely 2+ hours to stroll here and visit all the shops. My mom loves sitting by the fountain. They play music every 15-30 mins and the fountain moves to the beat of the music.
