The Room - Live Escape Room LA

Amazing time had by our group of 6 aged from 11-58. When we arrived we thought maybe getting in the business itself was part of the game & we stood outside ringing the doorbell and knocking and after a couple minutes the staff came and let us in telling us the door was literally open lol. So we did not have high hopes for ourselves for the actual game but they were awesome about it and apparently we're not the first group that's happened to, so fyi the front door is open. As far as the game itself we played the cabin and had so much fun from the start. The actor Danny was amazing and actually really scared all of us. He was really great about getting everyone involved and keeping in character. He even yelled at me to stop doubting myself and I honestly feel like I owe them more money for how therapeutic it was to be yelled at by a serial killer to believe in yourself! We needed lots of help but we ended up getting out of the room with a minute to spare! We will definitely be back to play another room! Thanks guys!

The staff is really nice and fun, and the rooms were really fun. We did The Cabin room, which was fun and exciting with some complicating clues. We would definitely come back again given the opportunity! The clues may be deceptive, but some effort will definitely find the answer!

UPDATE: Came back and did The Cabin again with a different group of friends. I mostly sat on the couch with the dead guy and watched my friends have fun. Our game master did not act like how we expected her too. I have never had a GM curse in front of patrons, but she did. In addition to this she raised her voice *not quite yelling* to make the guys in my group move back some decorations that they had shifted in searching the room. I thought that this was very unprofessional as a GM and it left our group feeling disappointed in the experience. Did The Cabin in a group of 4 and finished with 5 and a half minutes left. I loved the decorations in the room, it really made you feel like you were in a cabin! The room was very immersive and well done! We even encountered some puzzles that we had never seen before. There are a few red herring in this room but other than that it is pretty straight forward and well done! I definitely recommend doing this room! I can't wait to come back and try the space ship!

My cousin invited us to this and we did not expect to get so involved and enjoy it as much as we did for a group of 6 grown adults. The staff was amazing, from front desk to the actor of Dwight!! We enjoyed last night so much and are planing returning with other people and trying another room! Don’t question yourself just do it yess they tell but that’s the point to scare you and keep u in fear haha!! 100% recommend!! Thank you for the experience and fun!!

We did Spaceship. What a great experience. The set was amazing. i felt like we were actually in a NASA spaceship. After all, it is down the street from REAL hollywood sets. Truly interactive with puzzle solves activating multimedia audio and video feedback. We mentioned it was for a middle school aged birthday event with a bunch of newbies. The puzzle master helped us out to make it a great first-time experience for everyone. I'd say my only complaint was the set was a bit too real with the room being dark for my old eyes. We're definitely coming back soon!
