Thunderhead

It was awesome! A great roller-coaster and I'm not a huge fan of wood coasters so that says a lot. As a whole, really enjoyed Dollywood. Beautiful landscaping and great attractions.

This is an AMAZING wooden roller coaster. Easily my favorite ride in the park (I didn't get to ride lightning rod). This is such a twisted layout it is so hard to memorize what comes next. But if you sit in the front row, you will get ejected from your seat entering every turn. This ride is very smooth, but it also has that out of control wooden coaster feel. It also has great trains and restraints. The pacing on this ride is absolutely perfect. There is not a single moment where it slows down. It is a perfect roller coaster, highly recommended!

Beware! It is a scary ride for sure with lots of sharp turns and I believe 2g of force! No inversions for those who enjoy rides without it. It lasts for about 2 minutes, but the rides safety bar doesn't click tight enough. Too loose for me!

I'm shocked to say this is my favorite coaster in the park. I like wooden coasters well enough but this one leaves them in the dust.

We were able to ride this incredible coaster. It us full handicapped accessible. Staff was so helpful, it made riding smooth. While very intense, it doesn't herk or flip. A must ride.#ada #coasters #dollywood #friendly
