Trailhead Park Playground

It is a lovely play space. I was confused at first as sign says for 2-5 year olds but all ages were playing nicely. Parking was easy. Some special swat swings. Water splash are was still open. Covered area with tables. Plenty of sun or shade seating. Walkway that connects to other areas. My only complaint was the nasty bathroom. We happened to stop in 3 days in a row and toilet seats remained nasty. No toilet paper. No hand soap. Just no care in at least 3 days. So bring your own toilet paper. And toilet seat wipes if you have children.

Great park for kids! The playground is not too big but has a lot to do. The splash pad has always been my go-to with my son for years. The splash pad isn't too big either, so it can get crowded. Kids will sometimes argue over things on the splash or pad

Great place for kids to burn off that extra energy. (I usually take the girls when mommy needs a break.) The ground is padded and plenty of room for the little ones to explore. Very family oriented and parents seem to watch out for each other. We like coming here and usually finish the day with a snow cone after we leave. Good fun!

One of the nicer parks in Winterhaven. Great splash pad for the kiddos with automatic shut ups when nobody splashing. Lots of picnic tables for gatherings and parties. Well-maintained. Relatively new playground equipment. Only exception is they need to replace the swings that are currently missing. Bathrooms were a wreck and all the stalls were without toilet paper. But I appreciate that they lock the bathrooms at dusk to discourage the transient population. Beware that there are no gates, or fences, around this park and this park connects with Martin Luther King Jr park and Silver Lake via pathways. So if you have an eloper, keep your eye on them. Also, beware at dusk, the transient population starts to circle. You can see some transient homes in the bushes next to the park.

Love taking the kid here! So many different thing for kids to do. Swings, slides, climbing areas, balance structures and plenty of picnic tables for the parents to relax at or to break for lunch. There is also a really decent sized splash pad for the kids to cool down in. Perfect little hidden gem.
