Universal Orlando Resort

We went during a busy time and boy was it busy. We didn't get to do many rides because of the long waits but we got a couple in. It's still fun for everyone to walk around and see things like the Harry Potter stuff. The food seems more expensive than Disney so be prepared to pay a pretty penny for it. In the end I think the kids had fun even after all the moaning and groaning while waiting on rides.

Universal is definitely a must visit park. It’s full of things for all ages. My teen girls love it and prefer it over Disney. The Harry Potter area is perfection and magical, Jurassic park makes you feel like you are in the movie and Dr. Seuss is magical for children. Our family favorite ride is Hagrid’s, I know the wait can be a lot so use the app to keep track of it but it’s definitely worth the wait. I promise.

This was my first time going to any large theme park in Florida, and I was super impressed by the amount of activities there were available, including rides, food, small shops, etc. As to be expected, there was a lot of lines, and since we were using the universal app to decide where to go next based off the line waits, we were able to hit quite a few different rides with waiting I think at the most 40 minutes and the least amount of time 5 minutes to get on a ride. There was lots of sightseeing, and people watching to be done while waiting, which made the experience quite enjoyable all the way around even with the lines. Definitely would recommend going!

Excellent variety of rides. Fantastic amount of different places to eat and drink. Loved every second. Themes were done very well. Must be up for walking miles if your going all day. However scooters available for hire at most parks.

I hate that we lost this out as a separate park from Islands of adventure even though I know it technically is. You should buy the ticket that grants access two both parks. If for some reason you don’t do that, this park isn’t as good as Islands of Adventure, but again, don’t buy the ticket that doesn’t let you take the train back and forth! Overall, Universal is our favorite park. It’s got a great feel to it, great closing show, and a short and fun Hogwarts Express ride over to the worlds best coasters!
