Universal’s Great Movie Escape

We had the absolute best time at the Back to the Future escape room today! None of these 1 star reviews know what they are talking about - the puzzles were just challenging enough, but most importantly a lot of fun! We wish we were stuck in rooms longer to observe all the cool details and easter eggs. A lot of care went into the design. It was an absolute joy to spend time in the world of the Hill Valley, no matter the decade we were in! Will absolutely do again!!!!!

Absolutely awesome experience. We did the back to the Future escape and really enjoyed every part. The puzzles were great and moving through the well themed rooms was a wonderful change compared to other escape rooms. Our guide, Tyler, was great at explaining the process and he was quite funny too. He gave us a couple hints in one room but we solved all the rest on our own. Thanks Tyler!! We will be doing the Jurassic one very soon!!

We did the Jurassic Park escape room! Of course you will be told before you start that this is different than a typical escape room so I do not understand most of the complaints on here. This is universal, so they do their own thing and our family extremely enjoyed the experience. The cost is high but we paid it and so there is no complaint there. I felt that the tasks were done well and I like the opportunities to see what level you can be rather than not actually finishing the course. If you go into this not expecting a typical escape room and looking for something different then you should enjoy this. If you want the typical escape room at the cost of a typical escape room then you most likely won’t like it.

Universal’s Great Movie Escape offers an immersive experience that truly brings beloved films to life. We participated in the Back to the Future: OUTATIME escape room, where we spent 1 hour and 15 minutes navigating through six different rooms with puzzles ranging from easy to hard. While we didn’t succeed in two of the rooms, we still had a blast solving the challenges and following Doc Brown’s clues to save the space-time continuum. The facility is clean, and the staff is friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The only drawback was feeling a bit rushed with the audible countdown, which added some stress in the more difficult rooms. Despite this, it was a fantastic time, and we would highly recommend it to any movie or escape room fan.

This thing is truly INVREDIBLE! I understand it isn’t a traditional escape room, disregard anyone who says that is the bad part! They explicitly tell you it is a story form experience rather than just puzzle solving! It had lots of special effects that I really enjoyed and it was only $40 a person! The rooms are fast paced and exciting and have incredible detail! Each of the puzzles are unique and you get to interact with real stuff! Highly recommend! I’ve done both twice and really had lots of fun, the general vibe is casual on the lobby and the theming is something else! I really hope they create another room because I would totally go back! People of any age can do this experience! Now if you are expecting a regular escape experience it is NOT that, but it’s never advertised as that. The puzzles are more of a story telling and immersive medium to make it feel like you are part of this world!
