It was really special being here over the Christmas season and seeing everything decorated, as well as the Macy's parade! Wish we had seen more of the characters in the parade but it was fun nonetheless. The lines like many say were quite long, there are less rides here than in the Island of Adventure area so you will wait longer. It's also less kid friendly in the sense that smaller sized kids won't be able to ride as many rides. They need to fix their app, the "shows" are mostly character interactions, but you can't see who the characters will be! The staff are able to tell you what's going on but it's annoying with this app they can't get it more precise and accurate for people to plan their visits. Between waiting for 2 plus hours for rides and not knowing where the characters you want to see will be or when, it's very hard to plan your day. For smaller kids there's a few areas and character interactions, but you need to go multiple days to ensure you'll see all the characters you want to see. For instance, like other reviews said Gabby wasn't there (Gabby's Dollhouse) and we never saw Po. I loved being able to try a Duff beer and get a nostalgic view of Springfield, as well as the different areas of the US, especially New York at Christmastime. Diagon Alley was very cool and interactive as well. It's silly that you can't take the train without buying the 2 park pass, you physically can't cover those parks in a day without staying at the hotel multiple days or traveling without children. There's no shortage of vegan friendly options available which is great as you can easily spend the entire day here. Obviously everything is expensive, overpriced, convenience fee priced, etc - it was especially frustrating that we bought all our photos for the day and when we got home to check them, some were locked. We contacted Universal and they basically said it's not their problem and we need to contact the photo company they contract the work to, who we haven't heard back from. [ETA this was resolved thankfully!]

Universal Studios Florida is an incredible destination for anyone looking for fun, thrills, and immersive experiences! The rides are top-notch, especially the movie-themed attractions that make you feel like you’re part of the action. The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s something for everyone, from adrenaline-pumping roller coasters to family-friendly shows. The attention to detail in the park's design is impressive, truly bringing movies and characters to life. Highly recommend spending a full day here to enjoy everything it has to offer!

I visited both parks on December 22, 2024, and using the single rider line was a big advantage to enjoy more attractions. The Harry Potter areas were stunning, especially for fans of the books or movies, with incredible attention to detail. Some rides, like water attractions and a few Harry Potter ones, were closed, but it was still a great experience. It’s a park I’d revisit every 2-3 years.

Had a great experience. Harry Potter areas are amazing. Loved the butter beer. Food is expensive but that's to be expected. Most of the serious rides have lockers prior to entrance where you have to put EVERYTHING. So that gets repetitive. But clean park. Friendly staff. Would recommend going low peek times. Also, pro tip. If it's just two or three of you. Jump into the solo rider line. It can be wayyyyy faster. Harry Potter has 45 min wait time and I got Through in about 10 min.

Awesome place, love the Minion Land so much I rewatched the movies after I got home. The red roller coaster is super cool, but I think there are too many rides featuring 4D+screen, it is really repetitive. Can we get more rides/stores/characters/shows featuring Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, and especially Rise of the Guardians please??
