Good swimming pool for children. Many stands for children to play and socialize with other neighbors. The environment is ment for physical and psychological developments of children. This is a very good park I recommend for your children in Minneapolis.

Nice, park for family fun and gathering! They need better park maintenance for their restrooms. You couldn't even use it. Toilet seat ripped right off, and the inside was dirty and nasty. Wouldn't even go inside to wash my hands. I did call and report this location to the park board. It's real sad how they do the city parks! I have been in suburban parks and the ones I've seen are like paradise. Park area is clean, has nice play ground equipment, landscape looks nice!! Are kids and families deserve the same!!

Willard Park is a great area to bring kids of all ages. The community around the park is warm, friendly and inviting. The park itself has plenty of activities to entertain kids from slides, rope ladders, swings and even a public kid friendly pool. This park's bathrooms are by far the worst part. Often dirty or locked. They would fit in wonderfully in such feature films as 'The Hills Have Eyes' and 'Saw'. The park could use a helping hand with debris like bottle caps, bits of plastic and the like. However there are plenty of garbage and recycling bins. All in all the park is great. I joke about the bathrooms, but the amount of activities you can do makes up for it. With the amazingly friendly community, Pokemon Go stops and the park itself you'll love your visit. TL:DR - Fun park. Warm community. Kid friendly pool. Bad bathrooms.

Fantastic small park! Slides, swings, and a surprising variety of fun activities for kids like the kid operated digging machines at the perimeter of the sand pit. The bathrooms I hear will be unlocked in June or July and I cannot wait to experience the pool! The small field looks adorable covered in dandelions but is obviously maintained as the grass is short.
