Great park to take the family. Go during the week to avoid lines. Purchase the fast pass for faster ride access. The park needs to add fast pass signs to direct foot traffic where to go way before the ride. It was a little confusing on where to go for fast pass access and some of the rides that accepted said they accepted fast pass didn't and we had to wait in the regular lines. Overall it was a fun day at both parks with the family.

I have loved this park for years. This season has been the worst season I’ve ever experienced. The replacement for Carnival was poorly done. Then they did away with the cars in the Haunt parade. The food areas are never open. Then today when I brought my family for a Sunday Halloween experience we were told by 4 people our tickets weren’t good simply because they didn’t want to read the fine print. We stopped in to order funnel cake at the front gate. We were the only ones in the store aside from the 6 employees. We ordered a single funnel cake and they decided to stand around and talk instead of make the funnel cake. Finally, someone asked what we were waiting for and when we said our funnel cake they actually made it. The rides operators weren’t very kind. Numerous times when my 7 year old said hello or thank you she was ignored. We stopped in for the make a mask activity and they were handing out EXTREME HEAT SPICY CHILI TAKIS to the little kids. The trash cans were overflowing and every bathroom was out of paper towels. It was all around disappointing to see such a fantastic park continue to decline so badly.

Don't forget that parking is $30! And the food is super expensive too. Shade was appreciated in the places there was some. Steam train was a nice relaxing ride. The roller coasters are great but the attendant at the Patriot could have better filled each ride -- lots of empty seats means longer wait times. Mamba was tops -- excellent view and good ride. Leave a lunch in the car and get a reentry pass to eat it. We went on a Saturday 15 minutes before opening (opens at 11) and had long waits to park and then to enter. But there would have been hardly any wait if we'd have come 20" later, and it wouldn't have affected wait times at the rides. Get tickets in advance and at a discount.

This place has changed a ton since I was there last, and some things are for the better. Others are so much slower now. It seems like the experience is better now with fewer people to contend with, but the wait times for rides for adults were horrid. It took us almost an hour just to ride the viking voyager, and the lines were not that long. Luckily, we went for Planet Snoopy, and it was amazing. I highly recommend Planet Snoopy if you have littles. We absolutely loved the experience. We could have spent the entire day right there. The other problem, though, was the wait time for food. We again stood in line for a burrito for almost 45 minutes, and again, the line was not that long.
