This roller coaster is aweosme! Airtime filled with tons of fun elements. I hate to give a bad review, but my only problem is that after waiting an hour and a half in line, the ride operator made an announcement that the ride broke down. They tested it about 10 times, and then they finally started letting people on. After about 20 more minutes, I finally got on. We pulled in behind the first train, and its restraints weren't unlocking, so the staff had to go around and unlock everything manually, which took about 10 minutes. After we unloaded, they closed it down and tested it again.

Beware, it's super fast, bumpy, and scary. Nothing like the original Zinger, don't get me wrog, it's an amazing experience... This ride is by far the fastest ride I've been on at WOF Sixflags and Disney. There's only one restraint: it's a metal T baracross your lap, so it literally feels like you're flying thru the air ... If you love fast and no breaks, try riding the Zambezi Zinger at Worlds of Fun in KC, Missouri! They are still testing this ride, so you have to have a season pass and as if now you may or may not get to ride. It will be open to the general public soon! I believe they said Labor Day weekend.

So I feel obligated to give a solid review of this roller coaster. I have been on 100+ coasters and this is up there with the absolute best. Is it intense? Yes, that’s the point. Does have a wooden coaster feel to it? Yes, that’s the point. It was never going to be a carbon copy of the original (also a great coaster) but no two roller coasters can ever be identical, especially since they built the Boomerang on part of the land that the old Zinger used to be on. This is a wonderfully intense roller coaster. If steep drops and surprising turns aren’t your thing, don’t ride it. If you don’t like wooden roller coasters or rides with surprise turns and slopes, don’t ride it. The first drop and turn almost defy physics but that’s obviously part of the fun. Please keep rating this incredible roller coaster as low as possible because I want to ride it without lines hundreds of more times with my 12 year old who rode in the front car twice and absolutely loved it.

A great addition to the rollercoaster line up at WOF. Zambezi Zinger is a fast paced, low to the ground hybrid coaster that is intense from first drop to the very end. I would say the only negative is the length of this ride, as it definitely could’ve been longer. Overall though, back seat is where it’s at for intensity on this ride.

The ride was fun i will say that. But it did give me terrible whiplash!! My neck bent down for a good minute and i couldn't get it back up and it hurt so bad, i thought i broke it. Honestly I’m just not a big fan of roller coasters that don't have headrests. Also we waited in like for like 45 minutes so that was annoying.
