This zoo is huge!! The parking lot was massive. Plenty of parking we got there around 11am and we got to park super close. It's unreal how big this place actually is but it seemed like really big gaps of area where we didn't see animals. We come from st. Louis and our zoo is free so $25 a person was a bit steep but it was a decent day and nothing else planned. We did rent the bike or whatever it was. I don't regret it at all it was a great experience and brought the teamwork out in us but it was $69. Again a bit steep. Honestly I don't think we would have gotten to see as much as we did if we didn't rent the bike. Like I said this place is huge. So you might need it. Good day only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the prices of everything.

I think this is the best zoo in Florida that I’ve ever been to! It’s huge and large variety of animals. What surprised me most is every animal looks healthy and their living environment is so clean, I think they really take care of the animal here and really grateful. Highly recommended and definitely will come here every time we come to Miami.❤️

It's a lot of walking. We spend 5 hours just straight up walking. A lot of the animals are far from each other so it's more nature to see than the actual animals themselves. A lot of enclosures were empty. So many animals were not on exhibit. Not sure, if they had removed animals and left the enclosures there or if the animals were hiding. They should just change their name to a botanical garden instead calling themselves a zoo. They also had a lot of extra things you can’t do unless you pay. On the upside there's plenty of parking. And bathrooms and water are available in a lot of areas throughout the zoo.

Zoo Miami was nice. Any zoo is nice. You should always appreciate what the zoo Keepers do for all the different animal species that are there, especially the ones that are close to becoming extinct. You are all Rock Stars in My book!

Great day for all of the Family. The Miami Zoo is definitely for children of all ages. My third visit in the last 40 and this one easily tops all previous visits.
